Let us try to find out whether fashion is really so important to everyone and what does it present?
Fashion appeared at Stone Age when people began to use skin to make their clothes and to embellish themselves with animal fangs and bones. To present day in China they form little feet to the girls from their childhood and long necks, stretched with the help of copper rings, are in fashion in some tribes.
So fashion is an artificial sphere of life. And in modern world it is unpredictable and fleeting.
Fashion is all-embracing and it depends on politics, economics and finance. Things that were interesting 5-10 years ago are unattractive nowadays. Many phenomena can be listed here: religion, diets, sports, countries for vacation, etc.
After a new “guru” appears many people follow them. But later new people arrive, standards change and what was in fashion yesterday goes out of fashion today.
The edge of fashion is very thin, it is substance-free. Fashion operates with two values - contemporaneity and prestige. And a fashion process is production of symbols of prestige contemporaneity (sorry for tautology) roused by the media.
At the same time there are people who reject fashion. They withstand it so they are also involved in the process. After all, everyone needs changes.
Statistics shows that a person needs to renew their life - to change work, address or family – every 6-7years. That is the stress factor. Style and fashion can help a person change image and by that avoid more serious damages and sequences.
That is why, in our opinion, fashion is important. It gives you emotions and desires.
Like artists we transmit information about ourselves through our clothes and appearance: how we want to be seen, our inner life, our dreams and illusions.
We do not blindly follow the fashion but help you feel it, think over and turn any tendency to your own advantage.
